The team behind the wildly successful “John Wick” film franchise is reuniting for a Hollywood remake of “The Man from Nowhere”!

According to a new report by Deadline, Chad Stahelski and Derek Kolstad—who directed and wrote all three “John Wick” films respectively—will be teaming up again for the upcoming U.S. remake of the 2010 smash hit “The Man from Nowhere.”

Derek Kolstad will be penning the script for the remake, while Chad Stahelski is said to be producing the upcoming film together with Jason Spitz through their production banner 87Eleven Entertainment. Deadline reports that “insiders say the execs are very high on the script that Kolstad just delivered and plan on meeting with directors for the job, as Stahelski is not expected to direct.”

A dark, gritty action film that went on to become the highest-grossing movie in South Korea in 2010, “The Man from Nowhere” starred Won Bin as a mysterious man who takes on a trafficking ring to save the young child that is his only friend (played by Kim Sae Ron). In spite of its 18+ rating, the iconic film managed to draw over 6.17 million moviegoers to theaters.
