"Backstreet Rookie" Finale Achieves Its Highest Ratings Yet
SBS’s “Backstreet Rookie” ended on a high note last night!
On August 8, the highly-anticipated series finale of the romantic comedy starring Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung soared to the highest ratings of its entire run.
According to Nielsen Korea, the final broadcast of “Backstreet Rookie” scored average nationwide ratings of 6.3 percent and 9.5 percent—not only marking a significant jump from its penultimate episode the night before, but also setting an all-time personal viewership record for the drama.
Starting on August 28, Joo Won and Kim Hee Sun‘s upcoming sci-fi action thriller “Alice” will be taking over the Friday-Saturday 10 p.m. time slot previously occupied by “Backstreet Rookie.”
