Go Ara Shows Different Chemistry With Lee Jae Wook And Kim Joo Heon In Upcoming Romantic Comedy

KBS 2TV’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” (literal title) released new stills of Go Ara, Lee Jae Wook, and Kim Joo Heon!

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” will be a romantic comedy telling the story of energetic pianist Goo La La (Go Ara) and pro part-timer Sun Woo Joon (Lee Jae Wook). Each with their secrets and scars, they gather at a piano academy called “La La Land” in a small countryside village. Kim Joo Heon plays Cha Eun Seok, an orthopedist who experiences Burnout Syndrome and loses all motivation and joy.

The new stills give an insight into the interesting chemistry between the three characters. Next to the reliable Sun Woo Joon, Goo La La stands triumphant and proud. Although Sun Woo Joon tries to maintain a cold poker face on the outside, he seems to be shaken up by Goo La La’s sweet smile, teasing their upcoming romance. Goo La La also also sends a wide smile to Cha Eun Seok, who replies with a sweet and gentle smile of his own, unlike Sun Woo Joon.

After settling down in the small countryside village, Goo La La begins two vastly different relationships with Sun Woo Joon, who somehow seems like he’ll accept every aspect of her even though he appears to be indifferent, and the gentle and thoughtful Cha Eun Seok. Go Ara explained, “Sun Woo Joon is a tough man and a cool tsundere (having cold outward behavior while actually being warm and caring on the inside), while Cha Eun Seok is comfortable to be around and sentimental.”

Sun Woo Joon is a free-spirited character who appears rough and cold, but is actually attentive to detail and warm-hearted. Lee Jae Wook shared, “Goo La La and Sun Woo Joon have a relationship that’s the opposite of a typical lender and debtor. It feels as if Sun Woo Joon is captured by Goo La La as collateral.” The actor also asked viewers to anticipate the heart-fluttering feelings evoked by Sun Woo Joon as he worries for Goo La La amidst their love-hate relationship.

Furthermore, Cha Eun Seok will also transform and regain his energy after meeting Goo La La. Kim Joo Heon explained that his character’s charm is having an unexpected side to him despite his maturity. He added, “Besides the things he’s good at, Cha Eun Seok has a side to him that’s also awkward and clumsy. Please look forward to how he’ll approach Goo La La.”

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” will premiere on August 26 at 9:30 p.m. KST. Watch a teaser for the drama here!
