BTS Wins Daesang At 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards, Taking 3 Trophies In Total
BTS grabbed the Daesang (grand prize) at the 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards!
The annual ceremony was held on August 13, and while BTS did not attend the show, they received three trophies that evening. In addition to the Daesang, they were also awarded a Bonsang (main prize) and the Favorite Male Bias Award.
BTS shared their thanks through a video message played during the show. “We’ve received such a meaningful award from the 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards,” said leader RM. “Thank you for giving us such a valuable prize.”
Jin went on to say, “To our ARMY who always loves and supports us, thank you and we love you! It’s because of you that we’re able to receive this award, which is such an honor.”
“To the unseen people who are always working hard so that we can shine, Bang Si Hyuk and the Big Hit staff, we express our thanks,” said Suga.
J-Hope added, “We released ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ in February and received so much love from all around the world. Once again, thank you to everyone who listens to and loves our music.”
Jimin said, “Although we unfortunately weren’t able to attend the award ceremony, we want to say thank you to the artists who are making the show shine and all the fans watching too.”
