WINNER’s Song Mino And Somi Share Their Passions And Perspectives As Artists
Portraying the images of young fashion icons, the two artists each appeared on different versions of the September issue cover of Elle magazine. In the pictorials, Song Mino and Somi exude uniquely dynamic and passionate energies.
Recently, Song Mino has been busy with the fashion variety show “Mapo Hipsters” and preparations for his upcoming solo album in October.
He shared, “I’m always working hard on creating music, but there’s a limit to how much I can share news of how I’m doing through music. Regardless of the method, I think it’s good manners to show myself frequently to people who like me and who are curious about how I’m doing.” He also added, “I don’t want to lose my passion. It’d be nice if my battery is always charged.”
Somi also made her return with her second single “What You Waiting For,” and she took her first music show win as a soloist with the song. She shared, “I’m always thankful for the fact that there are a lot of people who treat me in a friendly way. I was able to enjoy the stage even more enthusiastically than during my first solo promotions. My younger sister is also planning to enter society and pursue her own music, so I’ll be even more grateful if people send her support.”
Somi continued, “This year, I turned 20. I’m excited that the field of things I want to express and can take on as a challenge has broadened.”
