Hong Seung Sung, co-founder of Cube Entertainment, has announced his decision to establish a new entertainment agency.

On August 14, Hong Seung Sung made the announcement through his Twitter account, which reads as follows:

Hello, this is Hong Seung Sung.

I wanted to be the first to share this news with you.

After thinking over it and taking things into consideration for a long time, I have established S2 Entertainment. I will not stop in my efforts to globalize K-pop, a goal that I have had from when I first started this work till now.

I hope to greet everyone who has believed in me and supported me with great projects in the future.

Although my body isn’t what it used to be, I am still full of passion and a desire to take on challenges, so I will take this leap once again. I hope you will continue to share your love and support.

Hong Seung Sung is a co-founder of Cube Entertainment, but left the agency in March. He cited the agency’s new majority shareholder VT GMP as the reason for his departure, claiming that they were “creating conflict within the company” that made it difficult for him to stay.
