Jang Sung Kyu Praises NU'EST's Ren's Acting After Being Moved To Tears At His Musical

NU’EST’s Ren brought Jang Sung Kyu to tears with his acting in his new musical!

On August 14, Jang Sung Kyu shared a rave review of Ren’s performance after seeing him in his musical “Jamie” (original title “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”).

Posting a photo that he snapped backstage with Ren, Jang Sung Kyu wrote on Instagram, “He was crazy good. Mingi [Ren’s given name], who made me cry more than five times [during the musical].”

After tagging the post with “Jamie” and “Choi Mingi,” he added, “Starting from today, I’ve decided that I should become a parent like Jamie’s mother.”

Ren adorably reassured Jang Sung Kyu that he had already achieved his parenting goal on his own Instagram account, writing, “Our superstar Sung Kyu is a dad who’s like Margaret [Jamie’s mom in the musical]… thank you. You’re completely precious.”

Last year, Jang Sung Kyu and Ren appeared together as hosts on the JTBC variety show “The Fool’s Chart.”
