Watch: Ji Soo Finds Meaning In Evocative Teaser For Web Drama Based On Webtoon

The first teaser has been shared for Ji Soo’s upcoming web drama “AMANZA”!

Ji Soo stars in the upcoming KakaoM original digital drama, which is based on the webtoon by Kim Bo Tong. The drama tells the story of a young man who is diagnosed with terminal cancer, and he goes back and forth between the reality of his painful battle with cancer and a dreamworld where he experiences exciting adventures.

On August 18, “AMANZA” shared a moving teaser video that showcases Ji Soo’s acting talent and gives a first look at his character, featuring clips of the star and his narration.

“In the autumn of my 27th year, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer,” begins Ji Soo in the video.

“And a new adventure begins,” he continues. “There’s no such thing as a life without meaning. Live your life, brilliantly.” The teaser video also features a glimpse of an animated scene from the drama’s amazing dreamworld.

The production team of the drama said, “Ji Soo perfectly immersed himself in his character and managed to portray complicated emotions that involved both calmness and despondency at the same time, acting with care and without any excess sentimentality.”

They promised everyone will be touched by the characters all searching for the meaning of life in their own ways, as well as by the mix of the animation with the drama’s emotional soundtrack.

Each of the 10 episodes of “AMANZA” will be 15 minutes long, and the show will premiere on Kakao TV in September.
