In the video, Park Jin Young shows Sunmi the music video for the first time, and Sunmi expresses awe at how cinematic the music video is and comments on various moments throughout the video. Park Jin Young also shares some of his favorite moments with Sunmi, including his top picks for her acting in the music video.

Sunmi reveals after the end of the music video that she had asked Park Jin Young if she was the only artist he had in mind for the song, saying that she was in disbelief that her mentor was asking to work with her.

Park Jin Young explains how he came to ask her and only her, saying that Sunmi had sent him a recording of a song that they had heard together while in the United States during Wonder Girls promotions. “The lyrics [for ‘When We Disco’] are, ‘I miss those days when we disco,’ and you suddenly sent me that song, saying that you missed those times. I thought, ‘this can’t be a coincidence,’ and I asked you again, ‘Do you really miss the days when we worked together?’ and you said you did. So I asked, ‘Then do you want to do this song with me?’ and you said, ‘What?'”

Park Jin Young goes on to express that he’s so thankful for his line of work, because the music they make will live forever.
