Jei Shares How FIESTAR Members And Fans Reacted To Her Wedding News

FIESTAR’s Jei talked about sharing the happy news of her upcoming wedding!

News outlet EDaily recently spoke to Jei over the phone about how she announced this week that she’ll be getting married in October.

She shared, “After I shared my marriage news, many fans have been commenting on my Instagram and YouTube channel to congratulate me and support me. My wedding preparations have become happier thanks to that.” She added, “The fact that I’m getting married is finally starting to feel real.”

Jei also talked a bit about her fiancé. “My fiancé is a businessman who’s five years older than me,” she said. “We met through friends and naturally started dating, and we’ve been together for a bit more than a year.”

“There are times when I’m not able to love myself, and whenever that happens, he’s more loving and understanding toward myself than I am, and seeing that made me decide to marry him,” she said.

Jei said that she’d wanted to share the news about her upcoming marriage earlier, but she hadn’t been able to because it was difficult to set the date due to the COVID-19 situation. “I felt uneasy because of that, but now I’m relieved that I was able to share the news,” she said.

She added with a laugh, “Many people are curious because I suddenly announced my marriage plans, but I’m not pregnant.”

Jei went on to talk about how her fans and members have reacted to the news. “I remember all the nicknames and IDs of the people who’ve supported me since early after my debut, and all of those people commented on my post about my wedding,” she said. “I was really touched, and I was happy to be able to hear updates from my fans that I was curious about. It also brought back memories from early after my debut.”

Jei said, “The members also seemed surprised when they first heard my wedding news.” She laughed, “I remember how Yezi in particular was shocked and said ‘I’ve got goosebumps.'”

“If the situation surrounding COVID-19 improves and I’m able to invite them, then I plan to ask the members to sing at my wedding,” she said.

Jei went on to share that she hasn’t been able to graduate university yet because she’s been busy with her career. “After I get married, I’m planning to return to school and focus on my studies for a while and also create opportunities to communicate with my fans often through YouTube,” she said. She also shared that after her studies, she’d like to return to work through something like a drama.
