BTS’s “Dynamite” Gains Amazing Number Of Views In First 24 Hours
BTS’s “Dynamite” continues to soar as it reached an impressive number of views in 24 hours since its release!
The group made their return with their English digital single “Dynamite” at 1 p.m. KST on August 21. At the 24-hour mark, the music video on YouTube had reached approximately 98.2 million views!
BTS currently holds the official record for the highest number of views in the first 24 hours for a boy group with their song “Boy With Luv,” which YouTube confirmed to sit at 74.6 million views. BLACKPINK currently holds the official overall record with “How You Like That” at 86.3 million.
YouTube’s official view count often differs from view counts that are measured in real time. For example, the unofficial number of views in the first 24 hours (the number that was shown on YouTube before adjustments for the final tally) for “Boy With Luv” was approximately 78.1 million views and YouTube later announced that the official count was at 74.6 million views.
YouTube will announce the official 24-hour view count for “Dynamite” at a later date.
Stay tuned for updates and congratulations to BTS!
