Watch: Park Ji Hoon, Lee Ruby, The Boyz’s Younghoon, And More Introduce Their Characters In “Love Revolution”
The upcoming drama “Love Revolution” shared a behind-the-scenes look at filming!
“Love Revolution” is based on a popular webtoon of the same name about the love and friendship between high school students, centering around the couple Gong Ju Young (Park Ji Hoon) and Wang Ja Rim (Lee Ruby). It is an original digital drama from Kakao M.
Park Ji Hoon said, “[Gong Ju Young] has a high level of aegyo [acting cute]. He’s a romantic. I think we’re similar in that we both have a playful side.”
Lee Ruby said, “[Wang Ja Rim] is an aloof high school student who looks cold on the outside, but she’s soft on the inside. I think that her cold demeanor and warm heart are similar to me.”
The Boyz’s Younghoon said, “[Lee Kyung Woo] is a long-time friend of Gong Ju Young. He’s a little popular at school but he’s a tsundere [cold on the outside, warm on the inside] character. In the webtoon, he plays a lot of games, and I also play a lot of mobile games.”
Jung Da Eun said, “[Yang Min Ji] is a character who is good at showing her emotions, so I think people will be able to relate to her.” WJSN’s Dayoung said, “[Oh Ah Ram] loves to eat. When she’s with her friends, she is very easy-going. I think that we’re similar in that, as well as her bright and cheerful personality.” Ko Chan Bin said, “[Kim Byung Hoon] is an innocent and naive character. He’s the type to need a lot of attention.” Ahn Do Gyu said, “[Ahn Kyung Min] is a character who has a lot of jokes made on his name and looks. He’s a friend of Gong Ju Young.”
The cast shared, “The set feels like a real school. It feels like all the actors are getting closer and like we’re really school friends.” Younghoon added, “It’s really loud.”
The actors also shared a few spoilers for their drama. Park Ji Hoon reenacted a shot from the webtoon and Younghoon said that he, Park Ji Hoon, and Ko Chan Bin had a cool dance scene. Finally, all the cast members got into character and told the viewers to tune in for the premiere.
“Love Revolution” premieres on September 1 on KakaoTalk’s KakaoTV Channel and Naver SeriesOn. It will also be available on Viki.
