Watch: Kim Min Jae Comforts Park Eun Bin In Uplifting Teaser For “Do You Like Brahms?”
SBS’s “Do You Like Brahms?” released a sneak preview of the first episode!
The drama will tell a story about the love and dreams of classical music students. Park Eun Bin plays Chae Song Ah, a fourth year student who started pursuing violin at a late age, and Kim Min Jae takes the role of world-renowned pianist Park Joon Young.
The teaser begins with Chae Song Ah confessing, “I want to be a violinist.” However, the people around her remain skeptical as they ask, “Do you even have a knack for the violin?” and make hurtful comments such as, “She’s always in last place. Is anyone who plays a violin a violinist?”
Meanwhile, despite being a famous pianist, Park Joon Young faces a different set of struggles. In the background, a voice says, “That’s why they say rank is important. Second is second after all.” In another scene, Park Joon Young is near tears as he asks, “Is that really so bad of me?” but another voice only responds, “That’s why you can’t make it.” The text reads, “Although they wanted to climb a little bit higher, they just wanted to receive a little bit more comfort.”
However, things begin to look up as Chae Song Ah and Park Joon Young meet for the first time. Someone at the dinner table suggests, “Since Chae Song Ah and Park Joon Young are the same age, you two should be friends.”
As the two talk, Chae Song Ah shares, “People must enjoy it every time you perform, right? I’m jealous. I’m not confident that I can do well.” Nonetheless, Park Joon Young reassures her, “Don’t worry. You can do a good job.”
