BLACKPINK's "BOOMBAYAH" Becomes 1st K-Pop Debut MV To Hit 950 Million Views

BLACKPINK’s “BOOMBAYAH” MV has reached 950 million views on YouTube!

“BOOMBAYAH” was released on August 8, 2016 as part of BLACKPINK’s debut. Shortly after midnight KST on August 29, it surpassed the 950 million view milestone, about four years and 10 days since its release.

This makes “BOOMBAYAH” BLACKPINK’s third music video to hit 950 million views, following “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love.” The only other Korean MVs that have reached the 950-million mark so far are PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” and BTS’s “DNA.”
