Cho Seung Woo Pays Bae Doona A Visit In The Middle Of The Night In "Forest Of Secrets" Season 2

“Forest Of Secrets” season two has shared a preview of Cho Seung Woo and Bae Doona amidst the growing tension between the prosecutors and the police.

Previously, congressman Nam Jae Ik, who is also the Commissioner for the Legislation & Judiciary Committee, was suspected of bribing a commercial bank into hiring his son. To counter these suspicions, the Commissioner filed a complaint against Shin Jae Yong (Lee Hae Young), the director of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, for investigating the case with a specific target and result in mind.

Commissioner Nam is a key person to both the police and prosecutors, as whatever bill that would result from their discussions regarding their investigative jurisdiction would have to ultimately be passed by him to have any effect.

To completely shake up Nam Jae Ik, Choi Bit (Jeon Hye Jin) ordered Han Yeo Jin (Bae Doona) to bring the Commissioner’s weakness that the police officers of the Intelligence Bureau had procured. When Woo Tae Ha (Choi Moo Sung) spotted Han Yeo Jin taking some documents into Nam Jae Ik’s office, he could not hide his anxiety, and the keen-eyed Hwang Si Mok (Cho Seung Woo) noticed this. Piecing clues together, he figured out that Woo Tae Ha had been directly involved in covering up Commissioner Nam’s corruption and ruling him not guilty.

Nonetheless, Woo Tae Ha ordered Hwang Si Mok to use his familiarity with Han Yeo Jin to find out what it was that she took to the Commissioner’s office. It also remains to be seen if Han Yeo Jin truly did not look at the contents of the envelope as Choi Bit had instructed.

The new stills preview Hwang Si Mok’s late-night visit to Han Yeo Jin’s home (see top image). It is unclear whether he is complying with Woo Tae Ha’s command as a member of the prosecution, or if he has come to cooperate with her. Hwang Si Mok’s eyes look certain about his decision, but Han Yeo Jin appears to have a lot going on in her mind.

The producers shared, “The point to look forward to in today’s (August 30) episode is how Hwang Si Mok and Han Yeo Jin will get out of this sticky situation as the opposition between the prosecutors and the police grows more and more heated. Please watch on to find out why Hwang Si Mok is visiting Han Yeo Jin late at night and how Han Yeo Jin will respond to him.”
