Jo Bo Ah Is A Tenacious PD On The Hunt For The Truth In Upcoming Fantasy Drama

Jo Bo Ah is determined to find out the truth in new stills from tvN’s “Tale of the Nine Tailed” (working title)!

The fantasy drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed” tells the story of a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) who has settled in the city (Lee Dong Wook) and the courageous and bold producing director (PD) Nam Ji Ah who is determined to hunt him down (Jo Bo Ah). Kim Bum plays the brother of Lee Dong Wook’s character, and he was born from a human and a gumiho.

PD Nam Ji Ah has a strong competitive streak and she’s a director that focuses on the supernatural. Her parents disappeared 20 years ago in a mysterious car accident, and she’s on a relentless search to find out what really happened.

Over the years, Jo Bo Ah has showed her acting chops as she played characters across a wide spectrum, with roles that span from bright and goofy characters to villains that are hard to hate. This is the first time she’s taking the role of a PD, and many fans are curious to see how she’ll bring this tenacious and passionate character to life.

In new stills from the drama, Nam Ji Ah is fired up as she works on an investigation. She looks incredibly focused, at one point hard at work with a pen in her mouth and in another photo staring closely at a document.

Jo Bo Ah shared that she had many discussions with the director in the process of creating her PD character. After her first filming, she said, “I was feeling nervous and anxious, but the atmosphere on set was calm and enjoyable, so things got off to a fun start.” She added, “I think the drama will be as fun as it was on set, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
