DAY6 And Fans Celebrate Their 5th Debut Anniversary

DAY6 is now five years old!

On September 7, the band celebrated their fifth debut anniversary with their fans My Day. DAY6 made their debut on September 7 of 2015 when they released their mini album “The Day,” featuring the title track “Congratulations,” and they’ve gone on to establish themselves as one of the most popular Korean bands around the world.

DAY6’s official Twitter account tweeted to celebrate the anniversary, and member Jae retweeted it.

Young K shared a sweet cover of Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours,” and he included in an Instagram post caption, “Happy Birthday Day6.”

To celebrate the big day, the five members of DAY6 all held live broadcasts on Naver’s V Live in a relay! They talked with fans and even all had small cakes for the special moment. It was a particularly exciting celebration as it included members Sungjin and Jae, who have been on hiatus due to health issues.

Dowoon shared screenshots from the broadcasts on his Instagram and wrote, “Happy fifth anniversary to DAY6. My Day. And my beloved five members of DAY6. I feel so blessed because of our relationship, which becomes closer as time goes on. I say this all the time but I think nothing will change in the future either and I’ll try to remain unchanged. We’ll keep having fun making music and give you strength. Please make my beloved hyungs do music healthily and happily and please make us people who can make more people happy.”

My Days have been sharing their love and looking back at favorite moments on the big day!
