Watch: "Running Man" Cast Picks The Best And Worst At Samba, Hula, A Cappella, And More

On the September 13 episode of SBS’s “Running Man,” the cast tried their hand at new hobbies in order to win the lottery.

The first class of the day was to teach them how to yodel. Yoo Jae Suk’s team won after being chosen by one of the directors on the show. However, Jun So Min’s creativity and passion caused the two instructors to pick Jun So Min as the best student, giving her the chance to choose one of the winning lottery numbers.

For the second class, the cast had to pick between “Hawaii” and “Brazil.” Their choices decided if they would end up learning hula or samba. On the hula team were Lee Kwang Soo, Song Ji Hyo, Ji Suk Jin, and Kim Jong Kook. Their hula instructor told them that facial expressions were key in hula and the cast practiced expressing emotions with only their faces before learning hula.

In the samba team were Jun So Min, Yang Se Chan, Yoo Jae Suk, and HaHa. Yoo Jae Suk and HaHa recognized their dance instructor, a dancesport athlete who had worked with them on “Infinite Challenge.” Although the cast was intimidated by the samba dancers’ energy and flamboyant moves, Jun So Min was intrigued when the instructor said that he had met his wife (who was also on the show as a dancer) through dance.

The samba team won the round and Jun So Min was again chosen as the best student by the dance instructors. Song Ji Hyo was chosen as the best student on the hula team.

Finally, the cast learned how to sing from the a cappella group EXIT, who taught them “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” from “The Lion King.” Lee Kwang Soo made everyone laugh when his voice started to waver in the middle of his performance, but Kim Jong Kook’s team impressed the whole cast and crew with their professionalism. Their team won and HaHa was chosen as the best student by EXIT.

In the end, no one was able to get all six numbers of the lottery correct, which meant no one took home the gold prize. HaHa, who got three second places, took home a Korean beef set as a prize.
