Fantagio Shares Update On Lawsuit Against Malicious Comments About Their Artists

Fantagio has shared an update on its ongoing lawsuit against malicious commenters.

On September 16, Fantagio stated, “Through May, June, and July, we filed multiple complaints against those who defame our artists’ name and reputation through malicious criticism, the reckless spread of false rumors, and sexual harassment.”

According to the agency, some of those lawsuits have passed the stage in which the plaintiff gives a statement. Fantagio continued, “The accused have been identified, so we will soon know the results of the complaints that are under investigation. We also intend to keep filing more complaints.”

Fantagio added, “Through the agency’s internal monitoring and the evidence that fans have sent in, we confirmed that insults and rumors that cross the line have been directed at our artists. This has caused our artists psychological damage and harm to their image. As a result, we intend to continue taking strong legal action against this behavior. We will pursue tough legal measures instead of agreeing to be lenient because of the artists who are suffering and the fans who are suffering alongside them.”

Fantagio currently houses idol groups like ASTRO and Weki Meki and solo artist Ong Seong Wu. The agency also manages several actors.
