Sung Hoon Confirmed For Leading Role In New Drama

Sung Hoon has been cast as the male lead in a new drama!

Tentatively titled “Marriage Story,” the drama will be screenwriter Im Sung Han’s first drama in five years. Sung Hoon’s agency stated that Sung Hoon decided to star in the drama after a long discussion with the drama’s production company.

In 2011, screenwriter Im Sung Han cast Sung Hoon as the male lead of “New Tales of Gisaeng,” even though Sung Hoon had no experience with acting. It was through this drama that Sung Hoon kickstarted his acting career.

A source from Sung Hoon’s agency shared, “Sung Hoon is very honored to be able to participate in screenwriter Im Sung Han’s drama again. It will be a chance for Sung Hoon to return the favor to screenwriter Im Sung Han, who gave him the opportunity to debut as an actor.”

Screenwriter Im Sung Han is well-known for writing makjang dramas such as “Miss Mermaid,” “Princess Aurora,” and more.
