"Homemade Love Story" Premieres To Higher Ratings Than Its Predecessor "Once Again"
KBS 2TV’s new drama “Homemade Love Story” is off to a promising start!
On September 19, the brand-new weekend drama starring Jin Ki Joo, Lee Jang Woo, WJSN’s Bona, and more aired its very first episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of “Homemade Love Story” scored average nationwide ratings of 19.9 percent and 23.3 percent for its two parts, making it easily the most-watched drama of the night.
The first episode of “Homemade Love Story” also managed to earn higher viewership ratings than those achieved by the premiere of its hit predecessor “Once Again,” the drama that previously occupied its time slot.
Meanwhile, both SBS’s “Alice” and Channel A’s “Lie After Lie” enjoyed significant increases in viewership from their previous episodes the night prior. “Alice” scored average nationwide ratings of 7.4 percent and 9.6 percent for its two parts, while “Lie After Lie” scored an average rating of 4.2 percent nationwide.
Finally, tvN’s “Forest of Secrets 2” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.8 percent for the night.
