Mnet will be launching a new show!

“Alternate Character Contest” (literal title) will be a digital variety show that invites singers, comedians, YouTubers, and more to present their “alternate characters,” or alter egos, and compete to be the best alternate character.

Mommy Son, who is said to be the alter ego of rapper Mad Clown, will be a judge on the show. The winner of “Alternate Character Contest” will get to release two songs digitally, hold a solo concert, and receive yearlong support for their music career.

The production team commented, “We planned this show after seeing Mommy Son’s unrivaled success. Through this program, we’ll show the ‘alternate’ sides of celebrities and make viewers laugh with the fun of guessing which celebrities they really are.”

“Alternate Character Contest” premieres mid-October on YouTube, and it will air on Mnet near the end of November.
