A staff member on the set of upcoming JTBC drama “Run On” (literal title) has tested positive for COVID-19.

The drama stars Im Siwan, Shin Se Kyung, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, and Kang Tae Oh.

On September 27, JTBC revealed, “A member of the production team was confirmed to have the virus today. We immediately halted filming, and all of the actors and staff who were in the same space as the confirmed patient are currently in quarantine and being tested.” Those actors include Im Siwan and Shin Se Kyung.

A source from Sooyoung’s agency Saram Entertainment stated, “Choi Sooyoung and Choi Sooyoung’s staff were not in contact [with the confirmed patient], so they are not a target of testing and investigation. However, they are in quarantine just in case, and they are keeping a close eye on the situation.”

The test results will most likely come out on September 28, and it is unclear when the drama will resume filming.

Stay tuned for further updates.
