Girl Group Member Captivates With Her Clear And Bright Vocals On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the September 27 episode of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer,” the challenge for the throne continued.

The first matchup of Round 2 was between Fireworks and Jade Bead. Fireworks chose to sing Im Chang Jung’s “You’re Here Too,” and moved the panelists with his calm but delicate vocals. Jade Bead chose to sang The Classic’s “Lady in the Rainy Night,” captivating the panel with her clear and bright tone.

In the end, the panel voted for Fireworks and Jade Bead took off her mask to reveal herself as LOONA’s HyunJin.

She shared that she had come on the show to make Kim Gura into a fan. She said, “I worried a lot before I came on this show. I was afraid that he would criticize me severely. I really wanted to receive a compliment from him.”

On Twitter, HyunJin wrote, “Hello, Orbit. It’s the voice behind ‘Jade Bead,’ HyunJin. I was curious to see whether Orbits would recognize my voice! I will work even harder to showcase good vocals in future! I was really happy to be able to sing on ‘The King of Mask Singer.’ It’s a sense of accomplishment I won’t forget. Orbit, I love you!”
