JTBC’s “More Than Friends” has shared an intriguing sneak peek of its next episode!

“More Than Friends” is a new romance drama about two close friends who both fall in unrequited love with each other over the course of 10 years. Shin Ye Eun stars as Kyung Woo Yeon, a calligrapher who finally decides to give up on her one-sided love for her guy friend after a decade of pining. Ong Seong Wu plays photographer Lee Soo, the longtime object of Kyung Woo Yeon’s affection, who suddenly starts seeing her in a different light after years of friendship.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “More Than Friends,” Kyung Woo Yeon and Lee Soo unexpectedly ran into each other on Jeju Island after not seeing one another for years. After spending some quality time together by the sea, Kyung Woo Yeon decided to kiss Lee Soo goodbye as an official farewell to her years of one-sided love.

Just as the dynamic between Kyung Woo Yeon and Lee Soo finally begins to change, the arrival of the handsome and charming On Jun Soo (played by ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun) becomes another unexpected variable in the longtime friends’ story.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming third episode, an intoxicated Kyung Woo Yeon falls back into her long-standing habit of calling Lee Soo’s old phone number whenever she gets drunk. Looking miserable, Kyung Woo Yeon goes outside during a work dinner to stare at her phone in sorrow, and a concerned On Jun Soo follows her outside to look after her.

Later on, Lee Soo arrives at the scene to give Kyung Woo Yeon a piggyback ride home, thoughtfully taking care of her just as he did during their high school days.

To find out how Lee Soo winds up coming to Kyung Woo Yeon’s rescue, tune in to the next episode of “More Than Friends” on October 9 at 11 p.m. KST!
