There has been a shift in the cast for “Dear.M.”

On October 12, Kim Sae Ron was confirmed to have left her starring role in KBS 2TV’s upcoming web drama “Dear.M.” Her agency, Gold Medalist, has stated that she will be leaving due to a difference in opinion.

Kim Sae Ron was previously in season four of “Love Playlist,” which “Dear.M” is a spin-off of. She received a lot of love for her bold yet friendly character Seo Ji Min, as well as for her on-screen relationship with Park Ha Neul, played by Bae Hyun Sung. The two were set to continue their story with “Dear.M.”

Filming has already begun, and the production team is looking for an actress to fill the new vacancy.

“Dear.M” will follow the aftermath of an anonymous post made on Seoyeon University’s online community about a mysterious figure named “M.” The drama will accurately depict the romance that buds on campus as a result. There is great anticipation regarding the upcoming series as it is an extension of “Love Playlist,” which accumulated over 500 million views.

KBS 2TV’s “Dear.M” featuring Park Hye Soo, NCT‘s Jaehyun, and Bae Hyun Sung is set to premiere in the first half of 2021.
