BTS Announces Details For Brand New Pop-Up Store

BTS will be opening an online pop-up store!

Big Hit IP, an independent corporation in charge of the IP (Intellectual Property) business of Big Hit Entertainment, will open a new pop-up store called “BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL” under the concept of BTS’s fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7.”

“BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL” will showcase about 300 different kinds of products, including clothing and household goods. Unlike the previous pop-up store, this one will mainly be operated online. Fans from many countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, United States, Germany, Britain, and France, will be able to access it.

Korea and the United States will have access to the online store from October 23, 2020 to January 24, 2021, and Europe and the rest of Asia will have it from November 14, 2020 to February 14, 2021.

Showcases will also be operated in Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore, and they will be decorated in blue, the key color of the album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7.” They will include a main showroom where merchandise will be sold, various spaces that recreate the concept and music video sets of the album, and an area for TinyTAN, BTS-inspired animation characters.

The showcases will run during the same period as the online store, and fans will have to reserve tickets in advance. The events will be held in accordance with COVID-19 protocol.

Big Hit IP shared, “The new BTS pop-up store BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL will be simultaneously held online and offline to provide a different fan experience in the new normal era. We hope that the showcases in Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore will be able to comfort fans who are saddened by the cancellation of the BTS tour and act as a small haven for artists and fans to feel as if they are together.”
