Kim Sae Ron's Agency And

Kim Sae Ron’s agency Gold Medalist and the production crew of “Dear.M” stepped up to address the rumors involving the actress’s reason for leaving the cast lineup.

“Dear.M” will follow the aftermath of an anonymous post made on Seoyeon University’s online community about a mysterious figure named “M.” The drama will accurately depict the romance that buds on campus as a result. There is great anticipation regarding the upcoming series as it is an extension of “Love Playlist,” which accumulated over 500 million views.

According to reports, conflict brewed after the production crew listed Kim Sae Ron’s name after her two new co-stars Park Hye Soo and NCT’s Jaehyun.

Ilgan Sports stated in their report that the order of cast credits is a sensitive issue in the film and entertainment industry. Some dramas have listed the actors based on their acting experience when issues were raised over the order.

Kim Sae Ron made her debut in 2009 through the movie “Traveler,” and she has been acting in various movies and films for the past 11 years. On the other hand, Park Hye Soo made her acting debut in 2015 through the drama “The Gang Doctor.” She has been acting for five years now, and she is also six years older than Kim Sae Ron.

On October 14, “Dear.M” responded to the reports, saying, “Both sides came to a smooth agreement and decided to support each other. It’s unfortunate that these false rumors have surfaced.”

Gold Medalist also commented, “Kim Sae Ron decided to withdraw from the drama after a discussion with the production team. We can’t give a specific reason because it’s an internal situation, but the two sides communicated smoothly.”

“Dear. M” is set to premiere in the first half of 2021.
