Watch: Lee Dong Wook Takes Viewers Behind The Scenes Of Emotional Kiss With Jo Bo Ah In “Tale Of The Nine-Tailed”

On October 13, King Kong by Starship released a behind-the-scenes video of Lee Dong Wook on the set of “Tale of the Nine-Tailed.”

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed” is about a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) named Lee Yeon, who has settled in the city, and the fearless producing director named Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), who tracks him down in her effort to find out the truth behind her parents’ disappearance.

The new behind-the-scenes video focuses on the flashback kiss scene of Lee Yeon and his lover (also played by Jo Bo Ah) on the Sam Do River. The Sam Do River, also known as the Sanzu River or the River of Three Crossings, is a mythological river that the souls of the dead must cross in order to reach the afterlife.

Despite the cold weather and the emotional scene ahead, Lee Dong Wook eases the atmosphere by joking, “Do you think I did my own laundry by the waterfall when I wore white clothes?” In the boat surrounded by blue screen, Jo Bo Ah notices that Lee Dong Wook’s hands are cold and gives him a hot pack to hold. When she brushes it off as nothing, he jokes, “What do you mean, it’s nothing? My hands are so cold. It’s not nothing. You’re a liar.”

As soon as the cameras start rolling, Lee Dong Wook gets deep into character, shedding tears as he kisses his lover.
