SF9's Chani, Park Jung Yeon, And N.Flying's Lee Seung Hyub Confirmed For New Musical Fantasy Drama

SKY Channel’s upcoming romance drama “Are You Leaving” (literal title) has confirmed its cast lineup!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Are You Leaving” is a musical fantasy romance drama that follows the love and dreams of young adults in their 20s. SF9’s Chani will be playing the role of Park Yeon, a musician known as one of three musical geniuses along with U Reuk and Wang San Ak. Rookie actress Park Jung Yeon will be starring as Min Yoo Jung, a busker from present times. A musician in the past and popular idol in the present, the role of Lee Won will be played by N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub. Another character to look out for is Do Young, who is an entertainment agency director.

Chani rose to stardom with his role in the hit drama “SKY Castle.” With Park Yeon’s character, he will portray a genius musician from the past. He has a good-natured, honest, and naive personality, and love is everything to him.

Park Jung Yeon, who starred in the drama “King Maker: The Change of Destiny,” will take on the bold Min Yoo Jung. When she was young, her family was separated after going bankrupt, and she has taken care of herself since then. Facing financial difficulties as an adult, Yoo Jung takes a leave of absence from school and fills her schedule with multiple part-time jobs. One day, she awakens Park Yeon and starts to have courage in chasing her dreams of becoming a singer.

N.Flying’s leader and actor Lee Seung Hyub will become a passionate vocalist through his character Lee Won. As a star vocalist, he has an extraordinary sense of desire and determination when it comes to work. Rather than with natural talent, he rose to the top through hard work. He applies this work ethic to his mission of winning Yoo Jung’s heart.

“Are You Leaving” will unravel on the backdrops of court music halls of the Joseon era as well as the entertainment agencies of present times. It aims to be the first web drama series that takes a jab at telling a story across time periods while also incorporating fantasy, music, and romance.

“Are You Leaving” will be pre-released on the OTT platform Seezn in January 2021 before officially airing on SKY Channel.
