A.C.E And OnlyOneOf Test Negative For COVID-19

Idol groups A.C.E and OnlyOneOf were tested for COVID-19 due to potential exposure of the virus.

Fortunately, all members of both groups have tested negative for COVID-19.

On October 23, their agencies released official statements to give more details about it.

Here is the statement from A.C.E’s agency Beat Interactive:

Hello, this is Beat Interactive.

A total of nine people, including five artists, two managers, and two hair and makeup staff, were tested negative for COVID-19.

In accordance with government guidelines, all nine of them will go into self-quarantine for 14 days (October 20 – November 3).

Our agency, artists, and staff members decided that the most important thing is to follow quarantine guidelines thoroughly at a time when more than 100 COVID-19 patients are being confirmed again.

Despite the fact that they tested negative, it is important for them to follow these quarantine guidelines for 14 days, and we will do our best to support these nine people in order to prevent the further spread of the virus.

They will not be attending any schedule for 14 days, and we sincerely apologize to those who will be affected by this.

Once again, we apologize for the unfortunate news, and we will thoroughly follow the guidelines and make our utmost efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you.

Here is the statement from OnlyOneOf’s agency RSVP:

Hello, this is RSVP.

All seven members of OnlyOneOf were tested negative for COVID-19.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who encouraged them with warm hearts. In addition, we’d like to give you a detailed explanation of what happened.

Four members of OnlyOneOf (Love, Nine, KB, and YooJung) filmed a variety show in Gochang, South Jeolla Province on October 21 and returned to Seoul at 6 p.m. on the same day. On the morning of October 22, we found out that the staff of the variety show tested positive for the virus.

As soon as we found out, we quickly followed the guidelines and sent the members (including Rie, JunJi, and Mill who didn’t participate in the program) to get tested at a nearby screening center. The four managers and three members of the hair, makeup, and stylist team who participated in the variety show filming were also examined.

On the morning of October 23, we received their results, which were all negative.

Currently, OnlyOneOf has cancelled their schedule, including a drive-through fan meeting on October 24. We will continue to abide by the guidelines and do our best to ensure the health and safety of our fans and artists.
