Lee Dong Wook Protects Jo Bo Ah On The Way To Work In “Tale Of The Nine-Tailed”

tvN’s “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” has released new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

The drama tells the story of a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) named Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) who has settled in the city and the fearless producing director named Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah) who is trying to find out the truth behind the disappearance of her parents.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Lee Yeon and Nam Ji Ah met Satto (Lee Kyu Hyung) to learn about the fox head incident that occurred 21 years prior. They then received a shock when they learned that the accident was all a plot to corner Nam Ji Ah. The leader of the plot was also revealed to be a middle-aged man whose face had traces of tattoos known to be worn by criminals in the past.

The new stills preview a scene in which Lee Yeon, determined to protect Nam Ji Ah after the new developments, follows her to work at the broadcasting station. Dressed in a clean-cut suit, Lee Yeon accompanies Nam Ji Ah through the lobby. He talks with her while sipping his drink, and he sits waiting in a chair after seeing her off.

The pre-released clip of the scene shows Lee Yeon as he drives Nam Ji Ah to work. When asked what he would do while she was at work, Lee Yeon responds that he will wait in the lobby for her. Nam Ji Ah sweetly fixes his collar and straightens his tie before turning to leave. She then turns around once more to say, “Thanks for being there, Lee Yeon.”

In addition, Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah also created a clever new self-directed teaser, which they both posted on their Instagram accounts.

In the video, they sit side by side while eating naengmyeon (cold noodles). Jo Bo Ah smiles as she adds sugar and vinegar to Lee Dong Wook’s noodles before cutting them and feeding him a bite. Lee Dong Wook asks, “Why are you treating me so well?”

Jo Bo Ah responds with a question of her own, asking, “If you want to keep being treated like this, what do you need to do?” They both begin to laugh as Lee Dong Wook replies, “I need to watch episodes seven and eight of ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed at 10:30 p.m.'”

The next episode of “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” airs on October 28 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
