Watch: gugudan's Kim Sejeong Is A Tough-As-Nails Waitress With A Supernatural Gift In New OCN Drama

OCN’s upcoming drama “The Uncanny Counter” has released a character teaser for gugudan’s Kim Sejeong!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “The Uncanny Counter” is about demon hunters called “counters” who disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant in order to battle evil spirits that come down to Earth through abilities like psychometry and healing.

Kim Sejeong plays Do Ha Na, a counter who has the supernatural ability to sense demons. In the character teaser, she starts out as a tough, no-nonsense waitress of the popular noodle restaurant, ushering people inside, telling them to serve their side dishes themselves, and barking out orders.

Although she looks bored and indifferent as a server, her gaze changes when she senses the presence of demons. She also has the gift of psychometry, sensing painful memories in other people’s pasts, and isn’t afraid to charge into a dangerous situation and handle a few villains.

Jo Byeong Gyu, who plays the main character So Moon, the youngest of the counters, also starred in his own character teaser earlier this week.

“The Uncanny Counter” premieres in November.
