Watch: Girl Group Members Show Off Their Powerful, Comic, And Synchronized Dance Skills On “Ask Us Anything”

On the October 31 episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,” 14 girl group members from seven girl groups competed in the show’s first “girl group special.”

In the special, (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi and Miyeon, Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon and Choi Yoojung, WJSN’s Soobin and Dayoung, MOMOLAND’s JooE and Nancy, APRIL’s Chaekyung and Naeun, GFRIEND’s Eunha and Umji, and Lovelyz’s Jisoo and Mijoo went all out in a competition of wits, comedy, and talent.

First, the girl group members competed to see who would get to pick which “Ask Us Anything” cast member to team up with. This included a dance competition in which the idols did everything from boy group medleys to dancing blindfolded, a “physical talent” competition in which Mijoo ended up getting cramp (but won the round), and arm wrestling.

In the dance competition, Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung danced to both a hip hop medley and a boy group medley, while (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon claimed to be able to dance two dances at once.

WJSN’s Soobin and Dayoung tried to prove they could dance to their sub-unit CHOCOME song “Hmph!” blindfolded, and GFRIEND, intrigued, tried the same thing with their song “Apple” and impressed everyone with their perfect synchronization.

APRIL’s Naeun knocked everyone over with her impression of a five-year-old showing her parents she can dance, while Lovelyz’s Mijoo combined power and comedy for a memorable performance.

(G)I-DLE won the right to choose their team member first and picked Kang Ho Dong. In second place, Weki Meki picked Lee Soo Geun. Lovelyz paired off with Min Kyung Hoon, MOMOLAND with Seo Jang Hoon, GFRIEND with Kim Heechul, WJSN with Kim Young Chul, and APRIL with Lee Sang Min.

GFRIEND also shared a spoiler for their upcoming title track, “MAGO,” with Kim Heechul.

The teams then played a quiz game and a musical game, with Weki Meki taking the final win and receiving an invitation for their full group to appear on the show’s annual closing ceremony.
