Watch: SM's New Girl Group aespa's Karina Teams Up With EXO's Kai To Show Off Her Dancing Skills Before Debut

Ahead of her debut in SM Entertainment’s upcoming girl group aespa, Karina joined forces with EXO’s Kai for a surprise duet performance!

On November 1, Hyundai Motors held its first virtual showcase for the new Hyundai Tucson, and as previously announced, Kai took the virtual stage for a special dance performance introducing the vehicle.

However, Kai wasn’t alone—he was soon joined by his labelmate Karina, who is currently gearing up to debut in SM Entertainment’s new four-member girl group aespa later this month.

In addition to showing off her dancing skills in the special performance, Karina also put her acting skills on display as she and Kai acted out the story of two characters meeting both in the real world and in another dimension. Intriguingly, the story seems to tie in with aespa’s concept of having both real-world members and avatar members that exist in the virtual world.
