Watch: Jo Byeong Gyu Is Recruited By Kim Sejeong, Yoo Joon Sang, And Yeom Hye Ran To Fight Demons In New Drama Teaser

OCN has dropped the main teaser for their upcoming drama “The Uncanny Counter”!

Based on a webtoon, “The Uncanny Counter” is about demon hunters called “counters” with supernatural powers who disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant in order to find and defeat demons who have come to Earth in pursuit of eternal life.

In the new teaser, Yeom Hye Ran, Yoo Joon Sang, and Kim Sejeong are a charismatic team of demon hunters trying to recruit Jo Byeong Gyu as their newest counter. Although Jo Byeong Gyu is initially hesitant and unsure of himself, he starts to get a feel for his new powers as he joins the counters on their missions.

OCN also released stills of Jo Byeong Gyu and Yoo Joon Sang’s bromance. Jo Byeong Gyu plays So Moon, the newest member of the counters. Yoo Joon Sang plays Ga Mo Tak, a counter gifted with superhuman strength. Despite their difference in age and demon-hunting experience, Ga Mo Tak takes So Moon under his wing and takes responsibility for his physical training. In one still, Do Ha Na (Kim Sejeong) joins them for training.

According to the production staff, Jo Byeong Gyu and Yoo Joon Sang also developed a brother-like chemistry on set, horsing around during action scenes and making each other as well as the staff laugh.

“The Uncanny Counter” premieres on November 28.
