BTS’s “MIC Drop” has received silver certification in the United Kingdom!

The British Phonographic Industry shared on November 6 that “MIC Drop” has now gone silver. Singles are certified as silver in the United Kingdom when they achieve 200,000 units.

“MIC Drop” was first released as part of the group’s 2017 mini album “Love Yourself: Her” and an extended version of the popular remix by Steve Aoki appears on BTS’s 2018 compilation album “Love Yourself: Answer.” It’s now BTS’s third single to reach silver certification in the United Kingdom, following “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) and “Dynamite.”

BTS also has two gold-certified albums in the United Kingdom (“Love Yourself: Answer” and “Map of the Soul: Persona“) and four more that have achieved silver certification (“Face Yourself,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” and “Love Yourself: Her.”).
