On November 16, RBW shared a statement to update fans on the legal action the agency is taking to protect MAMAMOO.

The statement reads as follows:

Hello, this is RBW.

We appointed OhKims Law & Company in order to file complaints against malicious comments, including the spread of false information, online slander, and defamation. The punishment for some cases has come to an end through the sentencing of fines. In some cases of systematic, persistent, and malicious commenters, we are continuing to take an unprecedented response at the civil law level.

In addition, we inform you that we are proceeding with the highest level of legal action on the principle of zero tolerance for all cases, including the ones we mentioned above. In order to do this, we are collecting systematic evidence through our fans’ reports and self-monitoring.

We will continue to make every effort to protect the rights and interests of our artists through continuous data collection, monitoring, and strong legal action.

In the future, we ask that fans continue to send reports. Once again, we want to deeply thank everyone for sending support to the agency and our artists.
