3 Moments When NU'EST's Minhyun Made Viewers' Hearts Flutter In

NU’EST’s Minhyun is stealing hearts in his new drama “Live On”!

“Live On” is a new JTBC romance drama starring Minhyun as Go Eun Taek, a perfectionist who is the head of his high school’s broadcasting club, and Jung Da Bin as Baek Ho Rang, a school celebrity and social media influencer who joins the club with ulterior motives.

Just two episodes into the drama’s run, Minhyun’s swoon-worthy performance as the aloof but secretly warm-hearted Go Eun Taek is already making hearts flutter left and right—and we’re not just talking about the hearts of the female characters in the drama!

Here are three moments from “Live On” in which Minhyun made viewers’ hearts skip a beat:

1. That unforgettable bus scene

In the first episode of “Live On,” Baek Ho Rang was dozing off on a bus when Go Eun Taek quietly approached to close the window next to her. When she suddenly woke up, the two characters found themselves unexpectedly making eye contact from a very, very close distance.

The moment was made all the more romantic at the end of the episode, when viewers found out in the epilogue just why Go Eun Taek had thoughtfully closed the window for Baek Ho Rang while she was asleep.

2. Staying with Baek Ho Rang to help her clean up at sunset

In order to gain access to the broadcasting club’s account, Baek Ho Rang pretended to be a model broadcasting club member and stayed after hours to clean up. Unaware of her ulterior motives, Go Eun Taek was impressed by the sight of Baek Ho Rang remaining alone in the club to wipe down the club’s camera lenses, and he decided to stay with her to help out.

The warm smile he sent Baek Ho Rang as they cleaned the lenses together revealed that Go Eun Taek was slowly opening his heart to her, and Baek Ho Rang smiling back at him when he wasn’t looking hinted that she was starting to do the same.

3. Go Eun Taek and Baek Ho Rang’s record shop date

In the second episode, after breaking Go Eun Taek’s record, Baek Ho Rang accompanied him to the record shop in order to make it up to him. Although she was initially unable to understand why he was so stubborn about listening to music on records, she was moved when he explained, “Even the process of waiting [for the music to start] makes my heart flutter.”

Despite the two characters’ vastly different tastes, they began to grow closer and become more comfortable around one another as they listened to music together, and their romantic chemistry seemed to be growing as well.

“Live On” airs on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. KST.
