Romantic Punch was up first, and they performed an exciting rock remix of BoA’s “Valenti.” Band member Baek In Hyuk also confessed that he was a huge fan of BoA, remarking, “It’s truly an honor to be able to perform in front of BoA. If I were to compare it to athletes, I think it’d be like competing alongside Kim Yuna or Son Heung Min.”

Kim Young Heum went second with a soulful reinterpretation of “No. 1,” and BoA praised the singer for putting the spotlight on the sorrowful emotions expressed in the song’s lyrics.

Next up was Stephanie, who was formerly labelmates with BoA under SM Entertainment. The singer recalled, “I practiced dancing while watching BoA, and I ended up signing with SM Entertainment after auditioning with ‘Atlantis Princess’ and ‘Valenti.'”

Before performing her cover of “My Name,” Stephanie commented, “I feel more sentimental than usual today, because BoA and I used to live together in a dorm in Japan. We couldn’t go home, so we cooked together. That was already 15 years ago.” She added, “I prepared a performance that is meant to be like a gift for BoA.”

After watching her performance, BoA remarked, “I already knew that [Stephanie]’s dancing was beautiful, but I was happy to see her putting on such a cool dance performance even now, after 15 years have passed. I kept being reminded of images of us struggling together in our twenties in Japan, so I became emotional while watching.”

DKB then performed a high-energy cover of “Atlantis Princess,” and BoA thanked the rookie boy group for reinterpreting the song with “such a youthful and bright energy.”

Ben was up next with an emotional rendition of “Only One.” The ballad singer shared that she had also been a huge fan of BoA back in the day, commenting, “[Her popularity] was to the extent that I didn’t have any friends who weren’t fans of BoA. Whenever we went on class trips, everyone would prepare performances of BoA’s songs, but I never got to perform because I couldn’t dance. The fact that I was able to sing one of BoA’s songs here today makes me feel like I’ve finally satisfied that urge.”

Finally, B.O.Y teamed up with famous child dancer Na Ha Eun for a performance of “ID; Peace B,” and they were ultimately crowned the final winner of the episode.
