Netflix’s upcoming original series “Sweet Home” has released its official trailer!
Based on a hit webtoon, “Sweet Home” is about a loner high school student named Cha Hyun Soo (Song Kang) who moves to a new apartment building after losing his family in a tragic accident. There, he faces a series of shocking and terrifying events as humans suddenly begin transforming into monsters all around him.
The trailer begins with Cha Hyun Soo moving into his new apartment and being driven to the edge of despair. On the day that he plans to end it all, he witnesses the terrifying sight of a woman transforming into a monster. Soon the apartment residents find that they have been locked in as the government informs all the citizens that they are under quarantine from a mysterious infection that turns people into monsters.
Cha Hyun Soo soon shows signs of being infected, including nosebleeds and hypothermia, but to his surprise, he doesn’t transform into a monster. Instead, he gains superpowers that help him fight back against the monsters and save his apartment neighbors, giving the ordinary humans a chance to fight back against this terrifying new threat.
