Get ready for a one-of-a-kind episode of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday”!

On December 12, the variety show aired a preview of its upcoming episode featuring WINNER’s Song Mino and Don Mills as guests.

The clip begins with the dramatic announcement that, for the first time in “Amazing Saturday” history, host Boom will be absent from the show. (Although Boom tested negative for COVID-19, he went into temporary self-quarantine earlier this month after his “PPONG School” and “Love Call Center” co-star Lee Chan Won tested positive for the virus.)

Park Na Rae briefly worries, “Who’s going to host the show?” but Boom quickly reveals his solution: he plans to pick a member of the cast at random as his temporary replacement. SHINee‘s Key complains that he shouldn’t pick someone randomly, but as the cast members look on with bated breath, Moon Se Yoon is selected as “today’s Boom.” The comedian initially protests, “I can’t do this! I’m telling you, I can’t do this!” but he soon adapts to his new role as host.

Don Mills and Song Mino then introduce themselves to viewers as Nucksal’s friend and Block B’s P.O‘s friend respectively. As a relative newbie when it comes to variety shows, Don Mills tries to prove his chops by doing impressions of celebrities and even showing off his dancing skills. Variety-show veteran Song Mino, on the other hand, is entirely relaxed as he declares, “I’m enjoying the ride.” The preview’s caption also teases that the WINNER member will be “hard-carrying” the episode.

The cast members grow worried when they learn that they have to correctly guess the lyrics to a TWICE song, but Song Mino and Don Mills soon surprise them with their listening skills and good ears. P.O proudly boasts that Song Mino is his friend, while Shin Dong Yup says of Don Mills, “He really seems like he wouldn’t be good at hearing lyrics, but he’s so good at it!”
