Namgoong Min Goes From A Charismatic Detective To A Suspicious Criminal In "Awaken"

tvN’s “Awaken” has released new stills of the upcoming episode!

“Awaken” is a murder mystery drama that follows the connections between mysterious events unfolding in the present and the secrets behind an enigmatic incident that took place in a village 28 years ago.

Previously, Do Jung Woo (Namgoong Min) attempted to kill Son Min Ho (Choi Jin Ho), shocking the viewers with the unexpected turn of events. It was revealed that Do Jung Woo jumped into the fire on purpose in order to approach Son Min Ho.

Amidst all of this, the new stills show Do Jung Woo in prison. He’s wearing a tan prison uniform, and he looks more rugged than ever. His eyes are sharp and intense, and his jaw is rigid with thick tension. Viewers are eager to find out how a highly respectable and skilled detective ended up as a criminal faced with murder charges overnight.

The drama’s production team hinted, “The accusation of Do Jung Woo as the serial killer is only the beginning of all the events that are to follow. This will trigger a raging storm, so please look forward to a series of thrilling twists and turns.”

The next episode of “Awaken” will air on December 15 at 9 p.m. KST.
