Watch: NU’EST’s Minhyun And Jung Da Bin Enjoy Each Other’s Company While Filming Confession Scene In “Live On”

JTBC’s “Live On” has released another behind-the-scenes look at the drama!

“Live On” is a romance drama set in the broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. Jung Da Bin plays Baek Ho Rang, the school celebrity and social media influencer who enters the club with suspicious motives, while NU’EST’s Minhyun plays Go Eun Taek, the head of the club who is strict and a perfectionist.

In the new making-of video, Minhyun and Jung Da Bin are filming the scene where Go Eun Taek confesses to Baek Ho Rang. The two actors are on the school rooftop, and they seem relatively calm compared to the heart-fluttering scene they’re about to shoot next.

While waiting, Jung Da Bin sticks her head out between the bars of the guard rail, and shocked, Minhyun exclaims, “So your head fits in there? That’s really amazing!” The director comments Minhyun’s jacket is really big on her, and Minhyun adds, “It’s like a dress.” Then he points out Jung Da Bin’s head fits between the bars and says, “I was really shocked!”

The two attempt to film the scene, but the wind keeps ruining their hair. Minhyun jokingly sings about the wind messing up his bangs, and Jung Da Bin chuckles before saying, “My hair has died.” Minhyun adds, “Her hair turned into seaweed.” Despite the distractions, they’re able to immerse into their characters and act professionally.

During another break, the staff member asks Jung Da Bin how it felt when Go Eun Taek confessed to Baek Ho Rang, and she admits, “It was exciting! Honestly, it was a bit cringeworthy, and I almost puked what I ate today, but I managed to hold it in.” Minhyun looks shocked and disappointed by her answer, and he turns away while clearing his throat.

Minhyun also comments about the sweet scene, saying, “Go Eun Taek confessed his feelings to Baek Ho Rang with lines you’d only see in web novels. This is something I haven’t experienced in a long time, so the situation itself just makes my heart race. It’s even raining a bit, and the nightscape is really pretty. On top of that, it’s 2 a.m. The weather and place just mesh together perfectly, and I think that creates a nice atmosphere.”

Then he adds he thinks it’s the first time Go Eun Taek has opened up his heart and confessed to a girl. He explains, “Up until now, he was only focused on the broadcasting club and his studies. But thanks to Baek Ho Rang joining the club, he starts to change. I think he’s able to experience various feelings because of her.”
