3 Lines From

NU’EST’s Minhyun is setting viewers’ hearts aflutter every week in his new drama “Live On”!

“Live On” is a JTBC romance drama starring Minhyun as Go Eun Taek, a perfectionist who is the head of his high school’s broadcasting club, and Jung Da Bin as Baek Ho Rang, a school celebrity and social media influencer who joins the club with ulterior motives.

Despite his frosty, aloof demeanor, Go Eun Taek has a hidden soft side and can become a warm source of comfort when he sees others suffering. Here are three of Go Eun Taek’s lines that gave everyone watching butterflies:

1. “It turns out that occasionally, a change can lead to good things.”

Up until Baek Ho Rang entered his life, Go Eun Taek meticulously scheduled every minute and second of his waking hours, and he stuck to that schedule like clockwork. When Baek Ho Rang’s chaotic arrival repeatedly forced him to go off schedule, however, Go Eun Taek eventually realized that her presence in his life was a good thing and had influenced him positively. While coming to this revelation, he also became aware of his feelings for Baek Ho Rang, which he articulated in his usual straightforward way.

2. “Everyone may have secrets, but not everyone has a sad ending.”

In the latest episode of “Live On,” Go Eun Taek comforted Baek Ho Rang with a message of hope—and he ended up warming viewers’ hearts in the process. Minhyun’s sincere gaze and the thoughtful, heartfelt tone in which he delivered the line especially brought Go Eun Taek’s feelings to life.

3. “When you develop enough trust in me that you feel comfortable showing me everything, then I’ll fully become a part of your life.”

While empathizing with Baek Ho Rang’s pain on the roof, Go Eun Taek was both considerate and patient as he offered to wait for her until she felt comfortable confiding in him. The respectful sentiment made it clear just how much he cared about her feelings, and not only did it lead Baek Ho Rang to open her heart to him, but it also melted viewers’ hearts as well.

“Live On” airs on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. KST.
