Jung Hyung Don To Return To Activities After Taking Time Off Due To Health

Jung Hyung Don will be returning to active promotions after taking time off due to his mental health.

Back in November, FNC Entertainment announced that the comedian would be taking a break from TV appearances due to worsening symptoms of anxiety.

On December 19, FNC stated, “After taking a break due to anxiety, Jung Hyung Don has received steady treatment at the hospital and spent a lot of time with his family as part of his recovery. He also took a lot of strength from everyone’s support and has improved to the point where he can start his TV appearances again.”

FNC added that Jung Hyung Don had participated in the most recent “Carefree Travelers” recording, which marked the end of the show’s season, and said, “This is a program that he has been with since the start, and as the cast and crew were so accommodating about waiting for his return, he decided to make that his starting point for his return.”

FNC continued, “He felt apologetic about causing viewers concern due to his sudden departure from the show, so he reflected a long time about whether he should return. However, he has a strong affection for the show and a determination to return to his TV activities, so he made the big decision that the best way to repay the love of viewers is to get steady treatment and show his healthy, bright smile on TV.”

FNC concluded, “The agency will do our best to support Jung Hyung Don so that he can promote in the best of health. He will also his best to keep his promises with the production staff, his fellow cast members, and the viewers.”
