1. The argument that occurred between Baek Soo Jung and Kang Yeo Joo the day before Baek Soo Jung’s disappearance

After the body of Baek Soo Jung (Hong Soo Hyun) was discovered, the chase for the culprit began. One potential suspect is Kang Yeo Joo (Jo Yeo Jeong) herself, who is found out to have met and argued with Baek Soo Jung just before she disappeared. Additionally, Kang Yeo Joo is said to have something to do with Baek Soo Jung having to leave Korea previously.

Traces of Baek Soo Jung’s blood were found in Kang Yeo Joo’s basement refrigerator, and Kang Yeo Joo has also aroused suspicion by visiting a cemetery in the middle of the night and lying while being interrogated. Viewers can’t help but wonder, what is she trying to hide?

2. Han Woo Sung’s purposeful run-in with a property manager

The affair between Han Woo Sung (Go Joon) and Baek Soo Jung leaves him in a desperate situation. He is further away from reaching his political aspirations and finds himself under his wife Kang Yeo Joo’s suspicion. Despite his strenuous efforts to cover up his tracks, a property manager still singles him out as a murderer.

It was revealed that this same property manager, who had been blackmailing Han Woo Sung with security camera footage placing him at Baek Soo Jung’s apartment building, was kidnapped before meeting with Han Woo Sung. He was enraged at Han Woo Sung, identifying him as not only Baek Soo Jung’s killer but as the culprit behind his kidnapping and attempted murder at the cemetery. All these events come across as shocking because Han Woo Sung had previously been known as a “star husband.” What more about him is there left to uncover?

3. Questionable figures in Baek Soo Jung’s life

Other characters in Baek Soo Jung’s network are also worth inspecting, such as Ma Dong Kyun (Oh Min Suk), a National Intelligence Service agent that tried to kidnap her nine years ago. He knew Baek Soo Jung was dead even before her body was discovered and showed suspicious behavior trying to hide secrets about the case.

Baek Soo Jung’s manager Kim Duk Gi is also suspicious. He is the one that reported her case and identified Kang Yeo Joo as a suspect. It is peculiar that he disappeared after the possible murder weapon was retrieved from his residence. With so many players in the intricate web surrounding Baek Soo Jung’s death, who truly holds the answers?
