Yoon Jong Hoon Confronts Kim So Yeon About The Truth In "The Penthouse"

SBS’s “The Penthouse” released new stills of Kim So Yeon and Yoon Jong Hoon ahead of the upcoming episode!

“The Penthouse” is set in a 100-floor luxury penthouse apartment and centers around three women: the “queen” of the penthouse Shim Soo Ryun (Lee Ji Ah), the “prima donna” Chun Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) who will stop at nothing to get what she wants, and Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) who will do anything it takes to get into the world of high society.

Previously, Chun Seo Jin caught the attention of viewers when she handed over divorce papers to Ha Yoon Cheol (Yoon Jong Hoon) with the condition of 70 billion won (approximately $6.4 million) in alimony. She also gave viewers goosebumps when she left her father dying on the stairs and ran away to her studio to play the piano and lose herself to madness, revealing her malicious nature.

The new stills preview a tense meeting between Chun Seo Jin and Ha Yoon Cheol. On edge, Chun Seo Jin brings her phone to her ear to make a call, and Ha Yoon Cheol watches her from behind. When Ha Yoon Cheol approaches her with suspicion in his eyes, Chun Seo Jin makes firm eye contact, concealing any discomfort that she might be feeling. It remains to be seen whether or not Chun Seo Jin will be able to hide the horrible truth that she left her father to die.

The drama’s production team praised the two actors as they commented, “The synergy that results from Kim So Yeon and Yoon Jong Hoon’s high-quality performance is always a surprise.” Hinting at what is to come in the next episode, they added, “Look forward to episode 16 to see what kind of chilling actions Chun Seo Jin will take next, as well as to find out if Ha Yoon Cheol will find out about her wicked deed.”

The next episode of “The Penthouse” airs on December 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
