Kim Jung Hyun And Shin Hye Sun Display Perfect Synergy Behind The Scenes Of "Mr. Queen"

tvN’s “Mr. Queen” has shared new behind-the-scenes stills of the two leads and more!

“Mr. Queen” is a historical fantasy-comedy drama about a man from modern times whose soul is trapped in the body of a queen from the Joseon dynasty. Shin Hye Sun stars as Kim So Yong, the Joseon queen with the soul of Blue House chef Jang Bong Hwan trapped inside her. Kim Jung Hyun plays her husband King Cheoljong, who is a weak and ineffective king on the outside but is stronger and sharper than he appears.

Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun have been showing off their flawless teamwork by immersing themselves perfectly into their roles and performing their comedic and memorable scenes with ease. In one behind-the-scenes still, Shin Hye Sun strikes a dramatic pose as she chops vegetables for a dish that her character Kim So Yong prepares by taking over the royal kitchen, while another photo features her sly smile. Kim So Yong’s other-worldly antics are bringing about multiple changes within the palace walls.

Meanwhile, Kim Jung Hyun conveys the nervous tension felt by his character King Cheoljong after he pulls Kim So Yong out of the lake. King Cheoljong is undergoing a transformation of his own after resolving his misunderstandings about Kim So Yong, now seeing her in a different light.
