The first match-up of Round 2 was between “Miracles in December,” who sang Park Won’s “Try,” and “2021 Strong Cow,” who sang Gummy’s “Memory Loss.” 2021 Strong Cow was praised for his deep and strong vocals, while Miracles in December was complimented on his ability to bring out the subtle emotions in the song.

In the end, Miracles in December lost by a single vote and 2021 Strong Cow advanced to the next round. Miracles in December took off his mask to reveal himself as VICTON’s Heo Chan.

Chan shared that he had tried hard to conceal himself, including wearing clothes that he normally didn’t wear. He said, “I wanted to give off the vibe of a completely different person. When I settled on a concept, I decided I would dress like the owner of a meat restaurant that was doing well.” He added that he wanted to do a duet with Stove Cat, the current champion of “The King of Mask Singer.”

In the talent show section, contestants normally show off their dance skills or other talents. Chan is the main dancer of VICTON, and the panelists asked if he had deliberately hid his skills in order to conceal his identity. He replied, “I’ve shown my dance skills often when I was on the show as a panelist, so this time I added some comedic elements.”
